The National Contact Points disseminate information and documentation relating to the European Centre for Modern Languages, its activities and its project results among institutions, associations and experts working at national level in the field of modern language education, as well as to other interested groups/individuals.

The ECML also has special agreement with Canada whereby the Official Languages and Bilngualism Institute (OLBI), based at the University of Ottawa, acts as  a National Contact point for Canada.

ECML expertise in non-member States

The ad hoc involvement of experts from non-member states in ECML activities allows the Centre to strengthen its expertise in specific areas and to increase its visibility in Europe and beyond.
